Reston, Va. (April 1, 2015) – Radiology professionals can continue to use the American College of Radiology (ACR) National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR™) to meet quality reporting requirements under the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has renewed NRDR’s status as a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR).
 
Eligible professionals can take part in NRDR to:
 
·         Meet PQRS requirements based on satisfactory QCDR participation
·         Submit data for 24 non-PQRS measures (in addition to 14  PQRS measures)
·         Have the opportunity to meet MOC practice quality improvement requirements
·         Gain relevant performance feedback to help enhance patient care and maximize Value Modifier performance
 
“NRDR continues to be the premier registry for radiology services - making it easy for providers to take part in PQRS and use quality metrics to meet reporting requirements under the Value Modifier program,” said Richard L. Morin, PHD, FACR, FAAPM, chair of the National Radiology Data Registry (NRDR). “We are pleased CMS has again recognized NRDR as a venue for providers to compare their practice performance to regional and national benchmarks and improve imaging care nationwide.”
