White Plains Radiology and White Plains Hospital enter exclusive alignment

White Plains Radiology Associates, PC has signed an agreement to be in full and exclusive alignment with White Plains Hospital after working with the hospital for more than 30 years.

The radiology group, now known as White Plains Hospital Radiology, has been serving Westchester County, N.Y., since the mid-1980s and consists of more than 60 radiologists, technologists and other staff.

Under the new agreement, the group will be working exclusively with White Plains Hospital and its locations throughout Westchester County, including imaging centers, multispecialty outpatient clinics and physician offices. In addition, White Plains Hospital Radiology will continue to operate five imaging centers, including an outpatient imaging center at the main hospital. The group will no longer offer its services to other hospitals.

Paul Khoury, MD, the director of White Plains Hospital Radiology, says this is a huge win for the practice.

“This agreement brings us many advantages, including being connected with one of the largest and most well-regarded hospital systems in the region,” Khoury told RadiologyBusiness.com via e-mail. “White Plains Hospital brings its extensive physician community and a committed investment in our group.  We have enjoyed a productive and successful relationship with the hospital for decades, and this agreement formalizes a partnership that we know already works well.”

Khoury says this agreement is a result of years of dedicated, hard work by the entire staff at White Plains Hospital Radiology.

“[Our group] has proven itself as a leader in providing the highest quality of imaging services available,” he said via e-mail. “We have gained the trust and loyalty of the community over our nearly 30-year tenure as the leading radiology practice in Westchester.”

Susan Fox, president of White Plains Hospital, is excited about the immediate impact this agreement will have on the hospital.

“This new partnership with White Plains Hospital Radiology will expand our ability to provide seamless imaging services of the highest quality in convenient settings throughout the county,” she said in a press release. “We already have an excellent relationship with the physicians and staff of White Plains Hospital Radiology, and we are thrilled to now welcome them in an official capacity to the White Plains Hospital family.”
