Texas hospital to expand radiology services with partnership

To better serve its patients, San Angelo Community Medical Center is partnering with a radiology group to provide necessary imaging technology.

The San Angelo, Texas-based center, which specializes in acute care, has signed an agreement with Radiology Partners, one of the largest physician-led, onsite radiology practices in the country, according to a statement from Radiology Partners. They serve more than 140 hospitals, clinics and imaging centers in seven states.

The company’s radiologists will provide onsite diagnostic services around the clock. With 24/7 service, patients can be treated sooner and more effectively.

San Angelo, which opened in 1929, has 171 beds and 100 physicians.
