Update: Radiologist arrested in connection with MRI-related death
A radiologist has been arrested in connection with the MRI-related death of 32-year-old Rajesh Maruti Maru.
The radiologist, Dr. Siddhant Shah, was present on Jan. 27 at BYL Nair Hospital in Mumbai, India, when Maru was sucked into an MRI machine and died, according to a report from Firstpost.
Shah is the fourth person arrested in this case. He was charged with dereliction of duty.
