Strategic Radiology joins WorldCare to offer diagnostic, consulting services

Strategic Radiology will now be a service provider to WorldCare, offering diagnostic and second opinion consultations which benefits clients and members outside their home countries make more informed medical decisions.

As one of the first companies to receive FDA clearance to allow diagnostic-quality images to be compressed and sent digitally, WorldCare operates in more than 40 countries, enabling records to be sent in a matter of minutes.

“WorldCare pioneered the medical second opinion process and continues to evolve the service by partnering with other industry leaders, including Strategic Radiology,” said WorldCare Chief Technology Officer Paul Clark. “Together with Strategic Radiology we will continue to connect members worldwide with the information and resources needed to make informed medical decisions with greater confidence.”

Strategic Radiology’s Subspecialty Telerad Partners have been receiving referrals from numerous countries as the company is also the only WorldCare vendor focusing strictly in radiology services.

“This arrangement is confirmation that our Subspecialty Telerad Partners program has value outside the domestic radiology market,” McMillan said. "This is a significant event. It means Strategic Radiology is global.”
