CMS offers three new training resources for PQRS participants

In recognition of National Health IT Week, CMS has launched three new resources designed to ease participation in the Physician Quality Reporting System. The training modules are offered through the agency’s eHealth University, which provides education on all of CMS’s eHealth programs, including Meaningful Use, Administrative Simplification and ICD-10.

Quality Measurement 101 is a beginner module that offers the basics on PQRS reporting.

2014 PQRS Requirements is an intermediate module with an step-by-step explanation on how to report and earn incentives in the 2014 PQRS program.

How to Report Once for 2014 Medicare Quality Reporting Programs is an advanced module that explains how participants can satisfy the reporting requirements for multiple programs in one reporting session. The programs include PQRS, the EHR Incentive Program, the 2016 Value-based Payment Modifier, and Accountable Care Organizations.

The agency has provided an introductory video for those interested in learning more about the eHealth University.
