Montreal, Canada-based Intelerad has announced the appointment of Christian Bazinet as COO and Michel Desgagné as Chief Customer Officer.

Intelerad specializes in medical imaging solutions and services, including PACS, RIS and other enterprise imaging tools. 

“In order to support our continued growth and augment our efforts and abilities, we’ve added two seasoned technology executives to our leadership team,” said Randall Oka, President and CEO, Intelerad. “With Christian and Michel, we gain a vast amount of knowledge and expertise that will help drive Intelerad forward in the years to come.”

Bazinet was previously serving as Vice President of Sales in the Technology & Cloud Services division at Oracle. He has extensive experience in the telecom and IT industries, with stints at Rogers and Sprint before settling at Cisco from 1999-2009.

Desgagné comes from IP security provider Genetec, where he served as Vice President of Operations. His background is similarly in telecom and IT, but Desgagné served on the research and design side rather than sales and marketing.

“While our company started out providing solutions to large health systems, our flexibility has made us quite popular in ambulatory and teleradiology markets,” said Oka. “With the growing need for interoperable systems that truly enable the delivery of value-based care, our solutions are today being sought out and deployed to a greater number of hospitals.”
