Radiology Partners expands presence in Ohio, Iowa, Texas

Radiology Partners (RP) announced this week that it has grown in the states of Ohio, Iowa and Texas. The El Segundo, Calif.-based company’s client base now includes more than 350 facilities in nine states throughout the United States.

“We are excited to welcome the radiologists serving Ohio, Iowa, and Texas to our practice,” Rich Whitney, RP chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “These physicians have a strong reputation in their medical community for providing high-quality radiology services. Joining RP will allow them to thrive by leveraging their solid local foundation with the added benefits of our national support resources, technology, and clinical best practice initiatives.”

Solomon Bierman, MD, a radiologist at Dallas Regional Medical Center, said in the same statement that working with RP helps he and his colleagues “raise the level of clinical expertise and service” they provide to patients.

“We greatly value their model that promotes local physician leadership with the backing of an innovative, large-scale and single specialty radiology practice,” Bierman said. “As long-time radiologists in the Dallas area, we know and serve our community very well. Yet, we also recognize our patients will benefit from RP’s resources, broader sub-specialties and clinical programs.”

Other states presently being served by RP include Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
