Fujifilm announces new products to improve outpatient imaging centers

The FDA has approved the radiology product FDR Visionary Suite and the FDR Clinica X-Ray Components by Fujifilm, the company announced in a statement August 3.

The Visionary Suite digital x-ray program is meant for larger hospitals and health systems, and is set to be ready for hospital use next month. It is meant to take over every x-ray component already in a hospital’s system. Other features touted by the company include long length imaging capabilities, an automated positioning system and cesium iodide detectors, among others.

The Clinca X-Ray Components are geared toward outpatient imaging centers. The digital system’s power can be adjusted to different centers’ specific needs, “be it a medium-sized x-ray department, a rural or remote facility with unstable power supply, or a large facility that demands a rigorous workload,” the statement explained.
