Radiology Inc. adopts Intelerad as its Central Medical Imaging Platform

Montreal, Canada – Intelerad Medical Systems™, a leader in enterprise workflow solutions, today announced that Radiology Inc. has adopted IntelePACS® as its central medical imaging platform. West Virginia’s largest and most comprehensive radiology group, Radiology Inc. reads 700,000 studies per year across 28 sites.

“IntelePACS is extremely scalable, and its flexibility makes it easier to manage complicated workflows,” said Nathan Thompson, Information Systems Manager, Radiology Inc. “This will make it easier for us to take on new clients and expand our reading practice, while increasing our radiologists’ productivity.”

As part of their Intelerad deployment, clinicians at Radiology Inc. will read from InteleViewer™ diagnostic viewer. Designed to provide an exceptional user experience, InteleViewer is highly intuitive and provides highly customizable toolsets, as well as a flexible interface that allow radiologists (including subspecialists) to customize their reading and reporting workflow.

“InteleViewer meets all of our physician’s requirements—it has robust features, it’s easy to use, and its speed has blown everyone away,” said Mr. Thompson. “In fact, just the speed at which images are launched is allowing our radiologists to read an extra 20 studies per day.”

In addition, Radiology Inc. has also been pleased with the support they’ve received from Intelerad’s NorthStar Client Services team.

“Intelerad has a good product, it operates well and the support is excellent,” said Mr. Thompson. “If an issue should arise, their team is on top of it and will resolve it in an expeditious way.”
