2018 SBI/ACR Breast Imaging Symposium headed to Las Vegas

The Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) is working with the American College of Radiology (ACR) to host its annual Breast Imaging Symposium April 12-15 in Las Vegas.

Each year, the symposium is attended by radiologists, technologists, medical physicists and other imaging professionals. Monica Morrow, MD, chief of breast surgical services at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, will deliver the symposium’s keynote address.

Additional guests scheduled to speak include Francesco Sardanelli, MD, Elizabeth A. Morris, MD, Daniel B. Kopans, MD, Debra Monticciolo, MD, Edward A. Sickles, MD, Etta D. Pisano, MD, Marc A. Homer, MD, and Geraldine B. McGinty, MD, and others.

“People who attend our conference leave better informed about breast cancer diagnosis and breast imaging,” Morris, SBI’s immediate past president and chief of breast imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering, said in a prepared statement. “More importantly, they become well-connected with other influencers who are making a significant impact on the world of breast imaging.”
