Concordia Care acquires Atlantic Imaging Group

Concordia Care, a Miami-based care-coordination company, announced it has completed the acquisition of New Jersey-based Atlantic Imaging Group (AIG).

AIG is a diagnostic radiology network primarily serving the personal injury and worker’s compensation market with contracted radiology facilities. As a part of the deal, Concordia Care also acquired iHCFA, which specializes in electronically processing worker’s compensation and automobile bills with supporting documentation.

“I am thrilled that we have completed the acquisition of AIG and related companies,” said Joseph Berardo Jr., CEO of Concordia, in a prepared statement. “Atlantic’s long history of providing the workers’ compensation and no-fault auto accident sector with access to quality diagnostics, combined with Concordia’s risk-transfer programs for large loss cases, makes an ideal pairing.”
