James K. Min named editor-in-chief of Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography

James K. Min, MD, has been chosen to be the new editor-in-chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (JCCT), the official journal of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT).  He will serve a five-year term.

Min is a professor at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City and director of the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging at New York-Presbyterian, also in New York City. He also served as SCCT president in 2011-2012 and received the SCCT Gold Medal Award in 2017.

“Dr. Min is a leading physician scientist in the field of cardiovascular CT. We are delighted that he is taking on the task of leading JCCT for the next 5 years” Leslee Shaw, PhD, chair of the JCCT Editor-in-Chief Selection Committee, said in a prepared statement. “Given his international prominence, Dr. Min will attract high quality research papers from around the world and establish JCCT as the journal for cardiovascular CT.”

Min has named Todd C. Villines, MD, and Gudrun Feuchtner, MD, JCCT executive editors.
