Radiologist named president-elect of Kansas Medical Society

Robert C. Gibbs, MD, has been elected president-elect of the Kansas Medical Society, a two-year pathway to becoming the organization’s president.

“I think it’s quite an honor,” Gibbs told the Parsons Sun.

Gibbs is the medical director of radiology at Labette Health in Parsons, Kan. In addition, he sits on the Labette Health board of trustees and is the medical director of the radiology technology program and the ultrasound program at Labette Community College, also in Parsons.

As president-elect of the Kansas Medical Society, Gibbs will work closely with the organization’s current president, James Gilbaugh, III, MD.
