Society of Interventional Radiology calls for conference research submissions

The Society for Interventional Radiology wants to see new research, according to a statement released by the organization.

The statement calls for abstract submissions in the lead-up to its Annual Scientific Meeting next March in Washington, D.C. The society is looking for abstracts that cover research in “all areas of vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology.” And organizers are accepting submissions from all expertise levels, from experts down to medical students.

The authors of chosen submissions will be able to present their research at the conference to more than 5,000 attendees and see their work published in print and online in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Submissions are due by Sept. 22, according to the statement. Scholarships and travel assistance are available.
