Siemens software gains VA approval, MU certifications

Siemens Healthcare announced late last week that syngo Dynamics VA10, the company’s cardiovascular imaging software, has been approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for use with its VistA Imaging System.

The software had to complete full HL7-PACs-Vista Imaging Validation testing before its approval was finalized.

In addition, syngo Dynamics VA10 has been certified as an ambulatory and inpatient EHR module, 2014 edition compliant, by Infoguard and received Certified Electronic Health Record Technology status from the Office of the National Coordinator.

According to a statement from Siemens, “these certifications underscore the trust that healthcare providers have” in syngo Dynamics, showing that it meets all applicable MU requirements.
