Mach7 Technologies and 3D Medical have announced the finalization of their merger, according to a company press release, resulting in the newly formed company Mach 7 Technologies Limited.
The merger aims to combine Mach7’s enterprise image management systems with 3D Medical’s advanced imaging technology, according to new CFO Jenni Pilcher.
“The combined strength of our two organizations will enhance our ability to serve a large healthcare market with ground-breaking medical technology applications for improved patient care,” she said in the release.
Despite the merger, Mach7 and 3D Medical intend to maintain their respective workforces, with Mach7 retaining its Burlington, Vt., headquarters for product development, professional services, sales and marketing while expanding sales in Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe.
