Carestream reveals plans for AHRA 2017 in Anaheim

Carestream announced Tuesday that its DRX-Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray system will be on display at AHRA 2017 in Anaheim, Calif. The mobile solution “will use carbon nanotube technology in a lighter weight, non-motorized system that will be easy to move and position,” the company said in its statement.

Jianqing Bennett, Carestream’s president of digital medical solutions, noted in the same statement that this new system follows in the footsteps of the company’s DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray system.

“We dramatically changed the mobile X-ray imaging market with the DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray system, and we are now debuting the next generation of mobile X-ray systems that will offer important productivity and ergonomic advantages,” he said.

In the statement, the Rochester, N.Y.-based company announced it will also be showcasing the Carestream Touch Ultrasound System, the Carestream OnSight 3D Extremity System, its portfolio of solutions developed to help facilities make the leap from CR to DR, and new analytics software.

The DRX-Revolution Nano Mobile X-ray system is still pending FDA 510(k) clearance. AHRA 2017 begins on July 9 and closes on July 12. More information about the show can be found here.
