Intelerad launches Panorama enterprise viewer

Intelerad Medical Systems, a Montreal-based developer of PACS and other software, announced this week that it has officially launched Panorama, a “zero-footprint enterprise viewer that provides seamless access to all medical images for any location at any time.”

“Panorama displays diagnostic-grade images through any web browser, on both desktop and mobile devices,” Rick Rubin, Intelerad CEO, said in a prepared statement. “In addition to connecting to multiple PACS and VNAs, and image enabling the health enterprise’s EMR and EHR systems, the solution supports a broad array of medical images, including DICOM, ECG, JPEG, BMP, PDF, visible light images and more.”

Panorama is accessible by all of a provider’s clinicians and specialists, allowing collaboration in real time from individuals in completely different parts of the world. The company noted that, to avoid security issues, it does not store images on users’ devices and images will no longer be available once the user closes the web browser or mobile application.
