UCSF exhibit offers visitors a look at MRI history

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) library is now offering a sneak peek of its new Radiologic Imaging Laboratory (RIL) exhibit.

The RIL was founded by a team of UCSF scientists and engineers in the late '70s. The lab’s team of researchers went on to develop “innovative MRI technology that transformed the way doctors diagnose and treat patients worldwide,” according to a blog post on the UCSF website.

The exhibit includes historical images, documents and more.
