Tessa Cook, MD, PhD, serves the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as chief of 3D and advanced imaging. She recently co-launched, and is now director of, the Center for Practice Transformation in the hospital’s radiology department. She is also the fellowship director for the Penn Radiology Informatics Fellowship.

Dr. Cook’s research concentrations include radiology informatics, radiation dose monitoring, advanced image processing and radiology education. She was the lead developer of a dose-monitoring software solution for CT called RADIANCE, which was released for free worldwide in 2010.
