South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Massachusetts, has opened a new interventional radiology program, according to a new report from Weymouth News. The new team will be co-led by Ari Sacks, MD and Jon Opraseuth, MD.
The interventional radiology program gives the hospital additional pathways to care for patients “closer to home.”
“Adding an interventional radiology program to a community hospital setting is a game-changer for the people of the South Shore,” Maureen Shorrock, director of diagnostic imaging at South Shore Hospital, told Weymouth News.
