Former NFL player shares his breast cancer story

A former NFL player has taken his battle with breast cancer public, encouraging other men to pay attention to their bodies.

Paul Dombroski, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 80s, says he first noticed a lump on his chest one day when he was yawning, according to a report from WNDU 16 in Indiana. The tumor was detected and removed, and Dombroski is now speaking out about his experience to help others.

According to the report, Dombroski is also now working “to create a more unisex environment” around breast cancer treatment.
