Radiologist arrested for prowling, violating restraining order

A radiologist from Del Mar, California, has been arrested for prowling and violating a restraining order after a couple shared security footage that allegedly shows him sneaking into their backyard.

The couple is Lovin’s ex-girlfriend and her current fiancé. They shared the security footage, which shows a man watching them through their windows for an extended period of time, reported ABC 10 News in San Diego.

“He stood in the shadows for a few minutes and then he got on his knees in the dark and crawled to the window and sat there with his face against the window trying to get a good view of what was going on,” Frank Zeigler, the ex-girlfriend’s fiancé, told ABC 10 News.

Jeffrey Lovin, MD, has a long history of arrests, though the charges were later dismissed. The Medical Board of California placed him on probation in 2017 for not reporting these previous charges or arrests to Colorado’s medical board when he practiced medicine there.

According to the report from ABC 10 News, Zeigler shared the video footage with police and Lovin was arrested the very next day. Lovin was released after posting a $10,000 bail, and the judge issued a protective order for the ex-girlfriend to keep her identity from the public.
