The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Foundation named 51 recipients of the 2018 Advancing Your Profession: Education and Professional Growth Grants program.
The program awards up to $500 as reimbursement for the cost of continuing education programs, educational products, conferences or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) primary or secondary certification exams. Grants are annually given to at least one recipient for each active affiliate.
If not a current member, applicants must agree to join the ASRT and ASRT state affiliate if selected as a recipient in order to receive reimbursement funds.
“The grant program is funded by ARRT to support continuing education and professional development for radiologic technologists, radiation therapists and sonographers,” the ASRT website states. “Education is the first of the three components of the ARRT Equation for Excellence (education, ethics and examination).”
