Radiology Partners celebrates growth over last 8 months

Radiology Partners announced Tuesday, May 21, that its specialists now provide imaging services for more than 925 hospitals, clinics and imaging centers throughout the United States. Since October 2018, the practice had added 30 new clients across 10 states.

“We are off to a strong start in 2019 with the addition of new client sites, new practices and continued progress in building unique clinical and service capabilities,” Rich Whitney, chairman and CEO of Radiology Partners, said in a prepared statement. “Our differentiated offering is beginning to change the way health systems view the radiology service line, which, in turn, is raising their expectations of value. Our physicians and support team members understand that it is a privilege to serve our clients and their patients, and we are committed to continuing to raise the bar.”

The new clients since October 2018 include providers in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma and Texas. According to the statement, Radiology Partners has maintained a 99.5% retention rate.

“Radiology plays an important role in meeting our quality goals,” Jim Schrader, vice president of physician and ancillary services at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana, said in the same statement. “We are confident we have found the right partner and look forward to working together to enhance value to our patients and our physicians.”
