Radiology Partners announces new deal with Las Vegas-based Desert Radiology

Radiology Partners has announced a new partnership with Las Vegas-based Desert Radiology.

Desert Radiology, the first practice from Nevada to join Radiology Partners, has been serving patients for the last 50 years. The group operates 11 outpatient imaging centers and has working relationships with the Universal Health System/Valley Health System, University Medical Center, DaVita Healthcare Partners and Banner Health.

“Our culture of excellence in radiology is very important to us and was a driving factor in our evaluation of a partner,” Richard Bodager, CEO of Desert Radiology, said in a prepared statement. “Radiology Partners’ mission of transforming radiology aligns with our values and equips us with the capabilities of a large-scale national practice, while allowing us to maintain local leadership. Together, we will continue working to provide prompt, quality healthcare with leading-edge diagnostic imaging services and innovative clinical programs.”

“Desert Radiology is an outstanding practice with a strong local market position, exceptional leadership, and a national reputation,” Rich Whitney, chairman and CEO of Radiology Partners, said in the same statement. “In addition to their dedication to excellent patient care, they bring expertise in the implementation and management of risk-based contracts and partnerships with premier health systems.”

With the addition of Desert Radiology, Radiology Partners now includes imaging providers in 18 states.
