Strategic Radiology welcomes its first member practice from Wisconsin

Strategic Radiology announced Radiology Associates of Appleton (RAA) has joined its coalition of independent radiology practices. The Appleton, Wisconsin-based practice is Strategic Radiology’s first member practice from the Badger State.

RAA was founded back in 1968 and serve five hospitals and two health systems in Wisconsin. The practice includes 24 radiologists, who specialize in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology and radiation oncology.

“Radiology Associates of Appleton brings to Strategic Radiology a strong interest in quality improvement and leadership development,” Arl Van Moore Jr, MD, said in a prepared statement. “Both activities are central to the preservation of independent radiology and the future of our specialty.”

“We are looking forward to collaborating with other Strategic Radiology practices to enhance quality through membership in the SR Patient Safety Organization,” Timothy A. Bernauer, MD, president of RAA, said in the same statement. “We think active participation in SR can help equip future leaders for the challenges ahead.”
