The top 12 radiology schools in the world, according to US News and World Report

U.S. News and World Report revealed its top radiology schools worldwide on Tuesday, with Harvard University taking the No. 1 spot.

Stanford University came in second, with King’s College London rounding out the top three. This is the eighth iteration of the news organization’s annual Best Global Universities rankings, which cover 43 different subject areas including imaging.

The rankings are powered by data from analytics firm Clarivate and are based on academic research performance in such subjects. More than 200 universities were ranked this year in the radiology category, according to usnews.com. The University of California, San Francisco, landed 10th on the list and touted its position on Wednesday.

“Our faculty and students continue to advance our ability to improve the human condition, even against the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, and these global rankings showcase their success,” Dan Lowenstein, MD, executive vice chancellor and provost, said in a statement.
