Imaging vendor Carestream names Medtronic vet Kristin Dietzler as president of its Americas Region

Radiology vendor Carestream has named a former Medtronic leader as its new president of the Americas Region, the company announced Thursday morning.

Kristin Dietzler will take over the role “effective immediately,” and oversee the Rochester, New York-based firm’s imaging, nondestructive testing and dental businesses in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Before joining Carestream, she for a decade served as general manager and global commercial lead for Medtronic, a device manufacturer based in Ireland.

“Kristin is a teamwork-focused leader with valuable experience managing large sales and marketing teams, and her customer-focused approach to doing business has enabled her to successfully meet aggressive sales targets year over year,” Carestream President and CEO David Westgate said in a statement.

Dietzler replaces the retiring Jimmy Ogle, who has been with the company for 20 years in various roles, including serving as head of its U.S. and Canada markets since September 2018.
