NEMA names new VP of government relations

The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), whose members include manufacturers of medical imaging equipment, announced Philip Squair as its new vice president of government relations. He will lead the association’s advocacy and lobbying efforts, according to a Sept. 6 release from NEMA.

"Philip is a highly accomplished senior executive, and his experience in adjacent industries brings an invaluable perspective and sophisticated skills to advocate on behalf of electrical and medical imaging manufacturers," said Kevin Cosgriff, CEO and president of NEMA. "We are very enthusiastic about him joining our team."

Previously a senior vice president with the National Propane Gas Association, Squair has spent the bulk of his career in policy, association governance and staff leadership.
