Artist reveals the hidden pictures in x-ray images

Radiologist Sue Summerton has turned her interest in the hidden imagery of x-rays into a growing career as an artist.

The Philadelphia Inquirer interviewed Summerton about her art, which involves taking standard x-rays and pointing out different shapes, letters, and images that she sees in the image. Summerton said she loves watching the faces of people as they “get” her art.

"That little moment when they get what you're doing, that's a little drug for me," Summerton said, as quoted by the Inquirer.
