Hitachi Healthcare will showcase new products at RSNA 2017

11/15/2017

Twinsburg, Ohio, November 10, 2017 — Hitachi Healthcare has released exciting new technologies that will be exhibited at the Radiological Society of North America Annual (RSNA) General Meeting 2017 in Chicago, Nov. 26 to Dec. 1.

Computed Tomography

The Supria True64 is a remarkably compact, economical and clinically versatile CT with 64 discrete detector and electronics processing channels to provide rapid thin 64-slice imaging across its full 40mm detector coverage. Supria True64 also emphasizes enhanced workflow capabilities, is XR-29 Smart Dose compliant and adds a new environmental efficiency feature “Eco-Mode” that reduces power consumption by up to 55% during idle periods. It received its FDA 510(k) clearance in September and is now available.

Ultrasound

Hitachi introduces the ARIETTA 850, the flagship model of its diagnostic ultrasound platform, supporting the first widely-available linear 4G CMUT probe, a transducer made using micro-machined capacitive cells in place of conventional crystals. The resulting 2-22MHz bandwidth allows a single probe to be used for a wide range of exams. Workflow automation features reduce exam time and key-strokes.

Magnetic Resonance

Hitachi will demonstrate its latest additions to the MR family: SynergyDrive, Hitachi’s workflow solution for the Oasis High Field Open MRI and Echelon Oval MRI and Evolution 6, the latest MRI operating system from Hitachi. SynergyDrive is the latest in complete efficiency and workflow engines that encompasses the entire imaging chain – from patient registration through to post processing. SynergyDrive benefits technologists, radiologists, department administrators and most of all, patients.

Evolution 6 is the latest version of Hitachi’s MR operating system and will bring capabilities to maximize Speed, Comfort and Quality for Hitachi’s High Field MRI systems.

  • Speed – faster multi-phase dynamic imaging with FatSep TRAQ
  • Comfort – better patient experience through a robust offering of Softsound pulse sequences
  • Quality – High resolution free breathing abdominal imaging with FatSep NAVI, and enhanced metal artifact reduction imaging with Hitachi’s proprietary HiMAR capability

Information Technology

Hitachi Healthcare welcomes Hitachi Vantara’s healthcare team to the Hitachi booth where Hitachi’s Vendor Neutral Archive, the Hitachi Clinical Repository, will be available for demonstration. The Hitachi Vantara team will also be showing the Hitachi Content Intelligence platform and the healthcare Data Analytics platform ideal for hospitals looking to uncover the big picture of their operations.

Live Demonstrations

Hitachi will be holding live demonstrations throughout the week at Booth 2511 South Hall. For each attendee Hitachi will be making a donation to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund in support of the victims of Hurricanes Irma, Jose and Maria. You can book your demo at www.hitachihealthcare.com/RSNA2017 or plan to stop by and see one of the scheduled demonstrations.
