Let the ranking begin!

Most of the world marks the start of summer with the summer solstice, that glorious moment when the tilt of the planet’s semi-axis is most inclined to the sun. We initiate the season with the launch of the annual survey to rank The Radiology 100: The 100 Largest Private Radiology Practices. Jointly produced by Radiology Business Journal and CliftonLarsonAllen, the ranking enters its seventh year in 2014.

We appreciate that the leaders of the nation’s radiology practices are thinking more about a few weeks of leisure right now, rather than filling out a survey that we know takes time, probably your own personal time.  You may be going fishing, or to the seashore. Your wife may have asked you take her to Paris; you may be taking your husband to the City of Lights.

That is why the deadline is August 15, 2014.

We thank you in advance for submitting your data. Many leaders of practices that appear on the list have done so since we began seven years ago. You have contributed to an annual overview of the radiology practice landscape that is always the most-read content on our web site.

Approximately half of the practices that appear on the list are there because their leaders have taken the time to personally respond to the survey.  They respond to the questions and submit data, including financial data that we hold confidential, contributing to a report used by all.

The other 50 practices appear because we register their data for them, either by phone solicitation or off of their web sites.  If the leaders of those practices also contributed their data, the report would be even more valuable.

Summer officially begins tomorrow: Enjoy (but please don't forget our survey)!
