Deadline near for submitting abstracts to SIIM 2016

The Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) 2016 Annual Meeting doesn’t kick off until June 29, 2016, but the deadline for submitting original scientific abstracts to the SIIM 2016 Scientific Program is rapidly approaching.

Researchers have until Monday, Sept. 14, to submit their abstract to the program. Those who are chosen will then present their paper in an interactive session, and winners will be chosen from a variety of categories.

The program is interested in abstracts detailing “theories, concepts and experiments developed by those in the field of imaging informatics,” according to SIIM. All abstracts fall into one of three categories: Hypothesis-Driven Research, Innovative Practices & Tools - Use Case Report, and General Descriptive.

Chosen abstracts are made available online three months prior to the meeting.

More information is available at the SIIM website.
