Indiana hospital implements eRAD PACS

eRAD, a subsidiary of RadNet, announced this week that Pinnacle Hospital in Crown Point, Ind., has implemented eRAD’s PACS technology at its facility.

“We’re happy to provide the tools our customers need for true patient-centered care,” Seth Koeppel, eRAD senior vice president of sales, said in a prepared statement.

Radiologists from the hospital’s current reading provider, Radiologic Associates of Northwest Indiana (RANI), said the upgrade made their jobs easier. RANI was already an eRAD customer.

“When all of their physicians have access to eRAD, there’s no issue of getting reports on time,” Divyesh Patel, MD, chief radiologist at RANI, said in the statement. “Physicians can login and get their reports from anywhere. Any internet-enabled device, like an iPhone or an Android, is able to access eRAD.”
