RBMA names Delaware state senator Robert Still new executive director

The national not-for-profit Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) announced that Robert T. Still, MHA, has taken on the role of executive director after being selected by the RBMA Board of Directors and the organization's executive search committee.

“Bob, as he is known to our members, has been a part of building the RBMA since 1992,” said RBMA Board of Directors President James Hamilton, MHA, CMM. “He knows our association inside and out, and furthermore brings an exceptional level of experience in both business and political leadership to the role.”

Still’s credentials include being a practice manager of Lancaster Radiology Associates for 22 years in Pennsylvania, CEO of Brian Orthopedic Spine Specialists for two years and has also served four years as a senator in the state legislature in Delaware. His most recent work has been serving as chief clerk for Lancaster County.

His involvement within RBMA has been serving as president in 2013 and on both the RBMA Board of Directors and the Federal Affairs Committee. In 2014, he was the winner of the RBMA’s Calhoun Award, the organization’s highest honor for contributions to radiology business management and the association. During that year, he also became a fellow of the RBMA.

“The RBMA has been a big part of my career and my development as a physician practice manager and CEO,” Still said. “It is an honor to become its executive director and guide the RBMA through a period of exceptional change in the healthcare marketplace.”

Still was also a physician practice business consultant and a hospital government and community relations director.
