vRad recognized in Minnesota for corporate culture, wellness program

vRad, a MEDNAX company, announced Monday that it has received local recognition from the Minneapolis area for its corporate culture and its company wellness program.

The Star Tribune recognized vRad as a 2017 “Top Workplace,” which is based on employee surveys, and the Hennepin County Public Health Department gave the company its “Wellness By Design” award for “successful health promotion efforts.”

Shannon Werb, president and COO of vRad, said in a statement the company owes these successes to its employees.

“We are honored to be recognized for both of these awards, and we are grateful to all of our team members and radiologists who make vRad the industry leader it is today,” Werb said. “We are committed to providing an innovative and collaborative workplace that allows us to deliver cutting-edge imaging services driving excellence in patient care.”
