Strategic Radiology, national coalition of private radiology group practices, is once again expanding its efforts with the addition of Radiology Associates of Indiana as their ninth affiliate.

“Radiology Associates is an important addition as we focus on growing our national footprint by attracting like-minded, quality-focused practices,” said Arl Van Moore Jr., MD, chairman of Strategic Radiology, in a statement. “Strategic Radiology is uniquely positioned to offer smaller practices that wish to remain independent access to the quality, subspecialty, and operational infrastructure that only a large national organization can provide.”

Radiology Associates serves patients in Jeffersonville, New Albany and Cordyn, Indiana, and Louisville and Elizabethtown, Kentucky. It has 25 board-certified radiologists that serve patients as well as operate an outpatient-imaging center in partnership with Baptist Floyd Hospital.

President of Radiology Associates, Craig Kamen, MD, had been actively searching for a larger organization that best fits their quality data and benchmarks.
