Duke University joins Radiology Partners Research Institute

The radiology department at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina, has joined the Radiology Partners Research Institute (RPRI), a research collaboration between Radiology Partners and various academic medical institutions. The university’s previous collaborations with the RPRI have been published in Radiology and the Journal of the American College of Radiology.

“It is an honor to be working with Dr. Hoang and her colleagues at Duke,” Jay Bronner, MD, chief medical officer of Radiology Partners and director of the RPRI, said in a prepared statement. “When we founded RPRI, we envisioned it as a ‘clinical innovation laboratory,’ and this was exactly the type of work and quality of academic partners we were striving to attract.”

“We are thrilled to be a part of RPRI,” Jenny Hoang, MD, a neuroradiologist and director of head and neck imaging in the radiology department at the Duke University School of Medicine, said in the same statement. “Our ongoing work with Radiology Partners and RPRI is already demonstrating the tremendous potential of academic and private practice collaboration to advance our field and the quality of care for patients.”
