Capitol Health Limited acquires 4 radiology clinics from Uniradiology for $5.8M

Capitol Health Limited, a radiology provider based out of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, announced that it has acquired a network of four clinics in Melbourne from another provider, Uniradiology, for $5.8 million ($8.1 million AUD).

The clinics are located in Frankston, Dandenong, Boronia and Carlton. Each one offers CT, x-ray, ultrasound, mammography and other key imaging services. According to a statement from Capitol Health Limited, “key resources” will join the company once this transaction is finalized.

“This acquisition represents a consolidation and expansion of our existing Victorian network,” Andrew Harrison, managing director at Capitol Health Limited, said in the statement. “The businesses are highly complementary to Capitol, sharing many of the same referrers are largely bulk billed in nature. This acquisition is another step forward for Capitol’s disciplined growth agenda. We continue to see a number of outstanding opportunities for acquisitive and organic growth.”
