Fujifilm opens doors to new Lexington facility during ribbon-cutting ceremony

FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. and FUJIFILM New Development U.S.A. unveiled their new company headquarters in Lexington, Massachusetts, during a July 10 ribbon-cutting ceremony. In addition to serving as the home to Fujifilm’s numerous healthcare groups—including CT, digital radiography, women’s health, endoscopy and more—the facility also includes the interactive Fujifilm Healthcare Customer Experience Center.

“Placing our healthcare resources under one roof was a strategic move to foster close collaboration across various business units and enable us to improve the customer experience,” Takaaki Ueda, president and CEO of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. and FUJIFILM New Development, U.S.A. said in a prepared statement. “This kind of collaboration is what spurs innovation and fuels our efforts to bring unparalleled new technologies to market and address pressing clinical and business needs while raising the standard of care and improving patient outcomes.”

“At Fujifilm we are focused on the complete spectrum of healthcare, developing groundbreaking solutions that address the entire continuum of care—prevention, diagnosis and treatment,” Jason Heim, vice president of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., said in the same statement. “With collaboration at the forefront of all of our initiatives, we look forward to having a central location to more closely connect with our customers, other industry leaders, and importantly, one another.”

FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A. will still maintain offices in North Carolina, Wisconsin, New York and New Jersey. The offices in Stamford, Connecticut are no longer in use.
