ACR sending 10 radiology trainees to RLI Leadership Summit

The American College of Radiology (ACR) announced that 10 radiology residents and fellows have been awarded scholarships to attend the 2019 Radiology Leadership Institute (RLI) Leadership Summit in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

This year, the summit is debuting its Resident and Young Physician Leadership Program, a symposium that will include group discussions and opportunities to interact in a learning environment. Case study reviews and educational sessions are also scheduled for the three-day event.

“The Radiology Leadership Institute is proud to award these scholarships to this outstanding group of radiology residents and fellows,” Frank Lexa, MD, MBA, chief medical officer of the RLI, said in a prepared statement. “These promising young radiologists will receive intense, immersive training to build leadership skills that will help them succeed in a rapidly changing health care environment.”
