Carestream executive to discuss innovation, creation at AHRA 2018 in Orlando

Todd Minnigh, Carestream Health’s vice president of global service sales, will deliver a presentation about innovation, creation and motivating employees at AHRA 2018 in Orlando. The presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, July 25, at 8:30 a.m.

“As children we all ‘invented’ things only to discover later that our great idea already exists,” Minnigh said in a prepared statement. “To the child inventor, those ideas were truly original. This proves innovation and creation are within everyone. I believe we can all discover ways to improve products and services if there is a culture that encourages and rewards continuous innovation.”

The Carestream executive says he believes in finding creative ways to motivate individuals to perform to the best of their abilities, and he established the Innovation Award at Carestream to “inspire and recognize” the company’s employees. One recipient of the Innovation Award, for example, stood out for a developing a new service that tests digital radiography system performance. Another Carestream employee build an application that helps field engineers send requests to their sales team to follow-up when equipment needs “extensive service or replacement.”

“This is a fast and easy way to make sure that our customers’ systems deliver excellent diagnostic image quality and achieve performance that meets regulatory guidelines,” Minnigh said in the same statement. “This application is now used all over the world.”
