Houston radiologist arrested, charged with online solicitation of a minor

A 40-year-old radiologist from Houston, Texas, was arrested on July 31 during an undercover sting targeting sexual predators.

Jay Lin, an assistant professor of radiology at Baylor College of Medicine, was charged with online solicitation of a minor and booked in jail in lieu of a $30,000 bond, according to a report from the Houston Chronicle.

His medical license was also temporarily suspended by the Texas Medical Board after it ruled that “his continuation in the practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare.”
