Enlitic, a San Francisco-based medical startup, and Capitol Health, a medical diagnostic imaging company in Australia, have announced a partnership that includes deep learning-supported medical diagnostics for radiologists and healthcare providers. 

For the third quarter of 2015, Philips had comparable overall sales growth of 2 percent compared with the same quarter a year earlier. Comparable sales in its healthcare sector increased 3 percent, including mid-single-digit growth in its imaging systems group.

Mach7 Technologies, an enterprise image management company based out of Burlington, Vt., and 3D Medical Limited, a medical-specific Australian 3D printing business, have signed a definitive agreement to merge. 

Merit Medical Systems, a Utah-based manufacturer of disposable medical devices used in imaging, announced its third-quarter earnings this week, including $136.1 million in revenue, which is up from $128.8 million in 2014.

Digirad Corporation has had an eventful October, and the month isn’t even over yet. Last week, the developer and manufacturer of diagnostic imaging systems entered into a definitive agreement to acquire DMS Health Technologies for $36 million, and now the company’s stock has been upgraded to a “buy” rating by the investment research firm Zacks. 

Two Wisconsin-based companies, NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes and SHINE Medical Technologies, have received funding from the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) for the development of medical isotopes.

Rhode Island Medical Imaging (RIMI), a network of private imaging facilities founded in 1943, has acquired Radiology Associates, the company announced this week.
