Radiology Partners announces new partnership with Texas practice

Radiology Partners (RP) has announced a new partnership with an Austin, Texas-based practice, Austin Radiological Association (ARA).

ARA employs a team of 113 radiologists, making it one of the largest private radiology practices in the United States. Its specialists provide services to 20 hospitals and 17 outpatient imaging centers.

“The industry is changing rapidly and partnering with RP will help us stay at the forefront of service and clinical innovation,” Greg Connor, MD, president of ARA, said in a prepared statement. “As the practice of radiology evolves, this partnership will help ensure that we continue to provide outstanding care to our patients and hospital partners. Importantly, RP’s mission and values align with our own, and support ARA’s vision for the future of radiology.”

“ARA maintains long-standing relationships with two of the nation’s largest health systems and brings outstanding clinical and administrative expertise to our growing team,” Rich Whitney, chairman and CEO of RP, said in the same statement.

This is the second partnership RP has announced in 2019. Read about the first here.
