In April 2018, Charlotte Radiology and the healthcare investment firm of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe announced the formation of a new venture, US Radiology Specialists. Charlotte Radiology also operates a mobile breast center, two vein centers and two interventional radiology sites. The group employs a team of more than 100 subspecialized radiologists who interpret more than 1 million studies annually.
