Interruptions while reading breast images contribute to emotions associated with physician burnout, according to a new study. 

The two giants in their respective industries plan to debut the first “MammogramNow” clinic Dec. 8 at the supercenter in Milford, Delaware. 

The product allows radiologists to zoom into breast cancer lesions and gather details on potential malignancy. 

Those involved believe the approach is “reproducible and systematic” and can potentially be applied nationally for any biopsies involving radiologists. 

St. David’s HealthCare operates a total of eight hospitals in Texsa, employing 11,400 individuals across 180-plus sites of care. 

“Developing personalized surveillance programs can be beneficial for these women,” researchers detailed recently in JAMA Oncology. 

“Radiologists should acknowledge and accommodate these preferences to optimize patient satisfaction," researchers wrote in Academic Radiology.
